A L E R T S P O I L E R A L E R T S P O I L E R A L E R T S P O I L E R A L E R T There were some annoying retrospective plot developments in that ep, which *really* weren't consistent with the Buffy Bible as we have grown to understand it over 6 seasons. But fitting season 1 into the canon is a bit difficult too. Or even half of season 2. I *hope* it will get resolved in s7 the way the appearance of Ms Trachtenberg as the sudden little sister did.
