Nick's message provides a nice (albeit modest) example of what I mean...

That would not make any difference; there would still be a blurb at the
bottom of every message, under whatever .sig someone uses.

It would not make much sense to change the URL; this list is, after all, not
hosted at Brin-L.com. AFAIK, that suggestion was never even mentioned,
except perhaps in some off-list communication between me, Julia and Eileen.

But feel free to contact me if you want to move the list to
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]"...   :-)
