That's because everything that goes against their worldview, science,
evolution, moon-landings, peace, etc. is from satan.  These are the same
people who think god is going to kill most of the world, the unbelievers,
in some great battle of good vs evil, that will cleanse the earth...

The Evil a man, alone, can do is limited.  Give that man a god and the
Evil he can do is without limit.
