I know for a fact that my isp has the messages sent to my address,
already separate.  I don't actually have to re-separate them, they are
already separate and can be downloaded individually.  It is really simple
to keep messages and their headers delimited once I download them.  And I
stand by my assertion that two wrongs don't make a right, no matter how
well intentioned they are.  Specifically, it would be impossible to be
100% accurate in separating messages if the reciever had to do it, and
had to munge the >from itself.
