I agree its a finite resource, but at this time it is in no way scarce.
There has been a glut for a couple of years now and since the business
failings of the last few years there is no end in sight for this glut.
Not only that, but this is a cycle that has repeated itself several times in
a little over a century starting with telegraphy.
