I think that argument is a bit unfair Matt.

I think we can all agree that the left and the right are slagging each other
mightily over this issue. And that is to be expected.

But if each side does not present its argument with as wide a panoramic
projection as possible, then the public is not served very well.
Sure, lots of the arguments will be propoganda, but you cant expect
objectivity to often be a part of the editorial process.
