The current add campaign has gotten away from that. Now, it's "Send a Card. They'll never forget you remembered." But obviously, it's in any company's best interest to sell their own product, not product made by some other company. You wouldn't expect to see a Ford ad that suggests you buy a car but doesn't list a specific brand name, would you?
