I have a Hewlett-Packard Pavilion PC running Windows ME. I've had a lot of
software corruption (long story) and am going to wipe the hard drive and
re-install everything from scratch.
I have the CDs that came with the system to re-install ME and all the
drivers and bundled software. But since I'm going to do this, I'd really
like to try something I've been considering for quite a while.
I'd like to partition the hard drive and install Linux on one of the
partitions. Ideally, I'd like to have the computer ask me which OS I want
to use each time I power on the PC.
Anybody have any advice or suggestions about how to do that?
I'm pretty tech-savvy (I troubleshoot networked PC's for a living), but I've
never worked with multiple operating system on the same machine before.
Thanks in advance.
