If poor Eileen had said something like this at that time, she probably would
have had several list members demanding she cite the complaints from list
members and from Cornell!!

I think this was a lose-lose situation for Eileen and I think she did the
best she could considering the poor atmosphere at the time.  And especially
considering that she probably just wanted to forget she'd ever heard of
Brin-L!  <grin>
