When my brother was getting the allergy shots there were at least 5 of us. We were.....almost poor......considering the standards of the 60s. It was a pretty major sacrifice for Chris to get those shots. When Chris was born (about 18 months after I was born) he got a nasty staph infection while still in the hospital. He almost died and spent quite a long time recovering in the hospital.
