The purpose of this appears to be to provoke a response from the listowners (in his own words: "and maybe the accumulation of Ding!'s might spur the List into taking corrective action"). What he is trying to achieve here is that the listowners will see him as a poor helpless victim and get so fed up with all this that they kick me off the list.
This raises the question: why would he want me to be removed? Well, that should be obvious: I do pretty much everything he hates. He makes claims but refuses to back them -- I want him to back his claims with facts. He makes claims but refuses to answer questions -- I want him to answer my questions. I often manage to shoot holes in whatever he is arguing -- he hates it when people point out that he is wrong. He expects others to admit to being wrong, but refuses to do that himself. He habitually commits gross violations of community standards -- I criticise him when he does that.
So, it is obvious *what* he is doing and *why* he is doing it. The only question now is whether the listowners will fall for this elaborate charade of his and give him what he wants (my removal from the list), or if they will see right through it and *not* give him what he wants.
