Do you have similar results if you walk for the same amount of time at
3mph?

Also, 8mph? Is that a constant speed, or an average of stop & go? A
constant 8mph is really slow to me, that takes me almost no effort. I
was talking about a constant speed of 12mph, and assuming taking plenty
of time accelerating to that speed.

Come on, you are talking about people in a bike club. Do you really
