Aw, man, I remember that afternoon.
We went over to our friend Rob's to play D&D. He had the game on when
we arrived, and wouldn't let us start playing until the end of the first
half. Then he turned off the TV and let the VCR tape the rest of it.
And then, after gaming and dinner and so on, he found out that his
beloved Oilers had managed to *lose*. Boy, was he upset.
And then the verb "to Oiler" entered the language.... >:) (There was
another game where they blew a big lead to really cement it as a term.)
