Ah. St. Louis. This I did not know. Back when I was traveling cross country, 
I always left St. Louis off of the map of the civilized world. 

I could read the next city down the road classifieds for estate and yard 
sales of off the net for every major town's paper except for St. Louis. Oh 
no, you had to go to a local grocery store to sign up for access.

Strange that town. I also read that one of the small circling towns did not 
want a used bookstore as it was an undesirable business.

Upstream reminds me of the movie, The Man Who Would Be King, and the standard 
response to the question, "Have you any enemies?"
