I've been blaming all of my recent spelling errors on-list on Nyarlathotep. Maybe I should reconsider... :-)A sense of humour. Also, since neither Zim or I can spell (I did finally catch that 'anniversary' in the subject was wrong), maybe that has something to do with it????
I agree with Jo Anne that a sense of humor is very important to the success of a marriage. Also, everyone argues, but it's important to argue fairly, keeping to the topic at hand and not bringing up every little thing from the past x years.
And finally, I think it's important to realize that every relationship, romantic, business or otherwise, requires effort in order for it to succeed long-term. Never, ever, ever, ever, ever take the other person for granted.
Of course, that's just my perspective from less than a handful of years. I'm sure some of the long-timers will have more wisdom and insight on this issue than me.
