Re: that last - shortened time in which to do a given
job/operation is a complaint across the board.  I've
heard the same grivance (basically, "they're only
giving me enough time to turn out a piece of s***!")
from friends in the fashion, computer, architecture,
education and medicine arenas.  I really started to
notice it in my field about 8 years ago.
