Are you trying to say that the situation before Oslo was
acceptable?  Nobody in the political mainstream at the time
would agree with you.  Either you're ignoring how bad the
situation was (such that the Oslo Peace Accords was viewed
as a tremendous breakthrough toward resolving the confilict),
or your much more extremely right-wing than I guessed.

I'd agree, however, that since 2000, the situation has gotten
worse than it was before 1993, and that GWB has contributed
to that situation greatly by withdrawing active support from
the peace process and through leading by example.  While Clinton
was in office, both sides could agree that an indepenant, sovereign
Palestine was a desireable goal, even if they couldn't agree on
very many details.  At this point, even that goal is in question.
