Hm.  This post tells me that Gautam never read any of the Paddington books
by Michael Bond....  ;)

Paddington was described as wearing "Wellington boots" at some point in the
first book, and I think maybe he wore them in some of the subsequent books.

If you ever see a stuffed bear with a coat, a hat and boots, it's probably a
Paddington bear.  Oh, like the only clothed bear in the carefully-arranged
mess of stuffed animals on the shelf on the west wall in here....  (Not that
you can really see the boots, what with several other bears being in front
of his feet, but something could be done about *that* if you really made the
effort to come here and wanted to *see* the boots.)
