Finished residency in '91; I suppose I _could_ check
out the local scene as you did (hurrah for
initiative!), but there's definitely a 'sour
grapiness' to my attitude that says "It'll never be as
wonderful as back then." I just need to accept that it
won't be the same. (For someone who spent 10 years
traveling around the country and constantly having to
adjust to new places/colleagues/procedures/formulary
lists/etc. etc., that sounds like an old
stick-in-the-mud, doesn't it?! ;P )

Still, I might go hunt a game up this summer - even
horses can't supply that thrill of foiling the
D'Master's evil plan of annihilation!  ;)
