Wrong. It was Al Gore who prevented a full Florida recount from
proceeding. Under the unconstitutional recount halted by the USSC, Bush
still wins.
And even if some recount Gore had won, it would have gone to Congress,
where the House was Republican, the Senate was Democratic and tie-breaker
vote would go to....
the Governor of Florida.
The USSC had zero impact on the ultimate outcome of the Florida recount.
