As far as it taking an inordinate amount of time to run an email through a spellchecker, I can't see how an intelligent person is hoodwinked by this ridiculous propaganda.
Typically people with dyslexia have a hard time getting some words spelled close enough to correct that a spellchecker will be able to recognize them. This problem is not propaganda, it's a physical difference in the way the brain of a dyslexic person processes words. Do a Google search; you'll find plenty of info on the topic.
