I'll say this, then let it rest: I wasn't complaining about people not
responding; I respond to very few posts on the list. So, read a post and
respond if you want . . . or not. But if you respond, answer the fricking
questions--if the topic is not of interest--start a new one.

There, I'm done.

To answer your question above, there have been film- and TV-based books
worth reading, though when you consider the sheer number of them, the
worthwhile list is a very low percentage, IMO. There were a couple of Trek
books I enjoyed, but I have tired of them. I don't recall the titles but
they dealt with events of Kirk after his "death" in Star Trek: Generations.
(Hint: he didn't really die in the "book" universe)

My favorite Media tie-in was the first Star Wars trilogy about event
immediately after "Return of th Jedi" by Timothy Zahn. Though Lucas says he
won't make episodes VII-IX, Zahn's books would be worthy candidates to be
made into Star Wars movies, IMO.

Anyway, I'll probably order the B5 books. I've got a couple of long flight
to the States and back coming up and those will help pass 13 hours.
