Because their minds are clear of ignorant religious dogma?  Why should
anyone consider a parasitic lump of undifferentiated cells any
differently from a cancer?  Stems cells are not humans, and I am
unwilling to give stem cells human rights.



I was going to ask what you thought a self-described free thinker would say to someone who opposes abortion, but you seem to have answered that question already, and to have made my point that the free thinkers are just as unaccepting and unforgiving of those in their ranks who do not agree with them as the members of any religious organization.
