No kidding. Low taxes are preferable to high taxes. That does not mean that zero taxes are preferable to low taxes. But, all things being equal, low taxes are preferable to high taxes. Those who feel otherwise are usually people who are paid well enough (famous radiologists, say :-) that the difference isn't that important to them.
