IIRC isn't it "Thou shalt not murder?" I believe the
kill part was an artifact from the translation of the
King James version, which attempted to be more
literary than accurate...
War can be, in some ways, classified the same as
justified murder. We could get on a tangent, however,
on what constitutes a just war. This was a big deal
during the Middle Ages, as my studies have
suggested...
