First, I would say that the US has sole claim on the title "superpower"
essentially locked up for the next 50 years.   I would also say that the US
has a very strong inside track for the next 50-100 years after that.  

In terms of potential next superpowers, the only real possibilities I could
see are:

1) China
2) India
3) United States of Europe

And even in those cases, it is hard to see any of them moving into anything
more than a "tie" with the United States in the next 100-150 years.    

There is then probably a next tier of countries that could also achieve a
"tie" into the top tier, but will probably never reach the unipolar levels
of a Greece, Rome, Mongolia, Spain, France, Britain, or US.  

4) Indonesia
5) Brazil
6) Nigeria
7) Russia
8) United States of Africa/African Union (distant future of course)
