Thought experiment: Hearing Ronald Reagan and Abraham Lincoln repeatedly mentioned in the same breath has been making my skin crawl. Sure, Lincoln was a Republican. If he were alive today (or if the parties at the time were reflective of the parties today), would he be a Republican or a Democrat? Or something else altogether?
