Oh come on, Zimmy, this is David Brin "logic" - where Republicans can never
ever be given credit for anything.   

Is it supposed to be mere coincidence that the culmination of these many
years happened to occur right after the US invaded Iraq?    Is it really so
over the top for Dick Cheney to believe that the US invading Iraq (and
previously having launched air strikes against Libya under Reagan) for
noncompliance with UN Disarmament resolutions had just a little something
to do with the timing of Qaddafi suddenly reaching this conclusion.
