I wasn't talking about an instantaneous step function. Indeed, there are a
number of countries where prostitution has been legal/decriminalized for
years.  If the problems were associated with the legality of prostitution,
then you would find problems quickly decreasing as the new workers, who
only have worked under legal prostitution, become the overwhelming majority
of those involved.

So, the idea that prostitution is not problematic is immune to
falsification for 100 years or so?
