Sometimes I think that for all the talk about religious tolerance, that some people believe that Christians really shouldn't be permitted to participate in the political process.
I would note, John, that these are direct quotes done in front of a news camera.
Tolerance is a two way streak. Before one can be motivated to tolerate Christianity, the Christians should show their own tolerance. That is not what I heard from the Evangelicals that were interviewed on Nightline.
And Warren, that sort of altitude is not going to win you any arguments, and in fact invalidates any sort of rational argument you with to present.
