One of the problems with looking up scriptures on the computer is that the verse which is highlighted and which appears on the line which shows what verse the cursor is resting on is not necessarily the one you are actually looking at (or want to make reference to) . . . :-[



I would guess that those who do believe in the efficacy of prayer have probably been doing some of it in the time they are not on-line . . .

And, likely, not announcing it. Seems to me that prayer is one of those intensely personal things — when it's being done in earnest — that has absolutely nothing to do with interacting with the outside world. It's not done on camera; it's not done before crowds with grimaces and gesticulations; it's not proclaimed or declared; it's a deep, quiet consultation with something far beyond petty concerns of ego.
