i can see how alcohol might be an issue for, say, safety in aeronautics, automobiles, motorcycling, archery etc... but billiards?? ..and boules?!
where i come from i swear you can't play boules without pastis. it's just not done. olivier ps oh, but i do i agree competitive (national and international) ultimate should be drug tested by the way. if we believe that ultimate will continue to gain recognition, then we need to acknowledge that this will drive stakes high enough to provide corrupting incentives. however this (BritDisc, EuroDisc etc..) is the sort of open forum where the issue should be discussed -among the player community, not behind closed doors by the 'decision-makers'. we're not talking about a captain's line-up decision here. --- Si Williams <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > BD, > > Had some time on my hands this afternoon (gotta love > being self-employed!) > so had a thorough read of the WFDF and WADA (World > Anti-Doping Agency) > rules and banned substances lists. > > According to the WADA, alcohol is ONLY banned in > specific sports, as > requested by those federations.
