It appears that my earlier comment has been misinterpreted?
I meant that Conference can be more useful if it has more attendees, not
that the attendees were not useful.

I was under the impression that Conference was disappointingly
under-attended. There's always the risk that a low attendence can result in
bias in the outcome of votes, etc. We can obviously reduce that risk by
attending Conference.

As you have observed, I wasn't at Conference this year (due to a prior
family engagement, if that's important).

No offence personally Wayne, but;

"whih will require attendees to be properly useful."

Those that did attend had a very productive day; the conference lasted for
several hours and we achieved quite a lot. We covered all the items on the
agenda, some in far greater detail than was expected of us and as we all
gave our own free time to be there (some flying all the way down from
Scotland especially to attend). I don't see why we should receive criticism
as to how 'useful' the attendees were, or the implication that the
conference is pointless as it does not address the matters you are currently
arguing. I do not remember seeing you there, so find it quite belligerent
that you should make such a statement.
