I totally agree with Steve,

The calendar was written ages ago. Making last minute changes trying
to squeeze another big event in the calendar such as Mixed Nationals
on either the 9/10 or 16.17 of June will only complicate things.

Just think at the effort that clubs and people have been putting
during the last months trying to organize big events such as Beachfest
and Jestival (9/10 of Jue) and the Durham hat (16/17 of June) that
might see teams and players dropping out of their tournaments at the
last minute due to Mixed Nationals. This can't clearly be a good
  thing!!!

Scrap Mixed Tour 3, Just have Nationals on the 2/3 of June.

That sounds like your running the risk of conflict the Nationals with
either Beachfest (which has lots of confirmed/paid teams) or a GB
practice. Both of which will likely take priority over the mixed
event leaving you with a poorly attended event.
I do wonder if making the Nottingham tournament Nationals again and
just scrapping MT3 this year is the way forward. As somebody put
it...because the tour doesn't involved qualification points like the
open tour (yet) the Mixed Nationals is sort of independent of the
tour. The best option seems to be to put Nationals on a priority date
that everyone has known about for some time (June 2/3) and just admit
a minor defeat, scrapping MT3, rather than cobble in an MT3/Nationals
combo simply out of the principle that there should be 3 Tours and a
Nationals because that's what is says in the Tour text book.
