Hi all,

I would just like to comment on Jacks spirit of the game scores. While I think
that in principle that it is a good idea to release information like this i
feel that a more accurate medium should be used to determine this. For example
a system we tried to implement last year was a score out of ten for EVERY team
you played. 5 being an average game with nothing bad and nothing amazingly
good in it. deducting points for aggressive behaviour or a bad unresolved
call, plus points given for good discussion of a call, and generally spirited
behaviour.

The problems with the format is getting people to give in their spirit scores.
from a TD prospective it gets really confusing as any team that does not submit
a spirit vote CANT win spirit... some teams have therefore won by default... is
this a true reflection of spirit???

A 3-2-1 score does not give an accurate account. Just my ramblings as DOC

Hannah
