My vote for 3G crumb is in part swayed by the fact that the 2009 Indoor
Nationals pitches were possibly the largest* UK indoor pitches that I've
played on and that the schedule meant that we didn't spend most of our
weekend waiting to play. On the downside, Indoor Nationals 2009 wasn't
particularly warm!

* they were almost 'full size' when compared to the Scandinavian (and
European?) standard of playing on Handball pitches of 40m x 20m, and there
don't seem to be many venues in the UK where it's possible to have more than
one such pitch in one venue.

Subject: [BD] Indoor Ultimate Surfaces

Dear Ultimate Lovers,

Mark's post got me thinking; with Winter approaching and the indoor season
about to begin a lot of players will be playing indoors in the next few
months. To the best of my knowledge there has never been an investigation to
see which surface players prefer.

With that in mind I have set up a poll to see if people prefer the
traditional indoor sports halls used for Basketball, or the newer 3G rubber
crumb.

You can vote online here:
http://frisbee.tournaments.googlepages.com/indoorultimatepoll

if you have not played on both surfaces please do not vote.
If you have no opinion but would like to see the results please select the
third option.

I will email the results in a months time.
