UKU will switch to the updated rules on 1 January 2013 also. The changes are not significant enough to have any material effect on ongoing competitions (e.g. winter leagues) that would require us to maintain the same rules throughout the winter.
For indoors, however, there is not only the issue that we're part way through the season, but also that we need to edit and double-check a UK Indoor version based on the 2013 outdoor rules. Therefore the indoor rules will not change until the 2013-14 indoor season.
