Aaron has provided numerous patches under the GCI program for the past two years now. He was a finalist last year and is on track for being a finalist again this year. The quality of his work continues to improve with each task he has completed. He's now provided numerous patches that demonstrate his ability to interact with our open source community and to work according to our HACKING guidelines and development requirements. Now with commit access, he can expand his contributions to other areas of the code and collaborate on code development more easily. His work over the next two weeks will undoubtedly continue to be GCI-related, but he's interested in continuing to work on BRL-CAD beyond GCI as well (fantastic!).
