I was installing BRL-CAD ,but on doing "svn 
checkoutsvn://svn.code.sf.net/p/brlcad/code/brlcad/trunk brlcad-svn-trunk", it 
is giving error as connection to svn.code.sf.net is 
refused.Is it due to proxy?

If you intend to do development, I suggest you obtain BRL-CAD from a Subversion 
checkout.  From there, you can find an overview of development with 
considerable detail in our HACKING file and a list of known issues in our BUGS 
and TODO files.
