Hitesh,

That looks great! Is the code to your extension available somewhere?

Also, did you make any progress with Confluence?

If you did not, this could be a good alternative but will likely require much
more development effort to make it usable and get round-trip working. It’s
obviously great progress for at least publishing the docs online (our build
system does that too), but we’ll need to think about how the docs are presented
and how to achieve the other objectives outlined earlier.

For example, this is the URL for the rtexample manual page:
http://202.164.53.122/~hitesh/media/index.php/Special:Docbook_Document?paths=/home/hitesh/public_html/brlcad/share/doc/html/man1/en/rtexample.html&pathtwo=/home/hitesh/public_html/brlcad/share/doc/html/man1/en

Ideally, we’d want that to be something integrated and cleanly presented like
http://202.164.53.122/~hitesh/media/docs/tools/rtexample

That might be possible with some URL rewriting but handling everything through
Special: means mediawiki is not aware of that content (so it’s not searchable,
editable, etc). Is it possible to close that gap as an extension (or set of
extensions)?

Cheers!
Sean
