Hi, BRL-CAD Developers, I am Sergio Randell studying Computer science at Peking University, China and wish to participate in the upcoming google summer of code with BRL-CAD. I am looking for a project that I can keep working on after the Google Summer of code. I mean Something in CAD I can continue research work on when I start a Masters in computer Science in 2017. I am new to this discipline but I believe my proficiency in C/C++ and python will be useful here in one way or the other. I also learn work is ongoing for an online Geometry Viewer just to mention I am familiar with Web technologies especially Javascript. I need a suggestion of Books, research papers or precisely an area of work BRL-CAD would want me to concentrate work on. I have installed BRL-CAD on OS X El Capitan and have successfully build the code and run the test suite and trying to run some mged commands and also perform some interactions in Archer just to understand what is going on.
I look forward to hearing from anyone soon on guidance or what I can do to get myself ready to start hacking BRL-CAD code.
