Congratulations to the BRL-CAD team that put up the GSoC 2016 application.
I guess its the right time to start discussing projects and start hacking.
I am looking for a project that will take me beyond Google summer of code
to 2017 then I start my MS. Looking at the proposed ideas, I find the Nurbs
editing project very challenging and interesting as it requires solid
mathematical skills to deal with the control points and insertions points
we would use to alter the curves. I am willing to learn more about
OpenNurbs and Nurbs editing algorithms in general so as to work on this
project.
Also, building a custom interactive Qt widget for the new Qt based mged
window is also an interesting and challenging one for me. I will be
researching more about these ideas and please make suggestions to where I
can get more help.
