Hello everyone,
I’m Rakshika, a 3rd Computer Science student at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad
Campus, India. Computer graphics interests me a lot. I’ve worked for quite
a while with OpenGL. As a part of a project, I worked on modelling my
college campus from just primitive shapes. I have experience with C/C++.
I’m currently working on a visualization software that is compatible with a
wide variety of file formats that supports geometric operations in it.
I found BRL-CAD in the past years’ GSoC mentors list. It would be an honour
to contribute to the open-source community. I got myself acquainted with
MGED commands, and studied parts of the source code. I went through the
Project Ideas page. I would like to work on the NURBS Editing support
project. I’m in the process of reading up more about the NURBS primitive,
which can aid me in the project. I'm also getting myself acquainted with
Ayam. I would be grateful if somebody could guide me.
