Call set_affinity in parallel_interface?
Points 4-8 are starting to make sense now, as you said. Since all threads
invoke parallel_interface, I'm assuming parallel_interface needs to call
bu_set_affinity. Are you saying(in points 4-8) that parallel_interface,
which currently takes no arguments, needs to take callback to a function as
an argument and bu_set_affinity has to be passed to parallel_interface as a
callback in pthread_create?
