I have been around BRL-CAD a long time (since 1993) and I learned to pronounce 'mged' from the guy who introduced me to it. He (and I ever since) pronounced it as:
mjed (soft g like the J in Jeb) Not long afterward I was discussing my newly-found favorite program with another mged user in my company and she pronounced it as: mGed (hard g as in get) So, is there a correct way? If so, perhaps shortly there will be emanating from the horse's mouth sacred words on the correct pronunciation of mged which will magically appear on the BRL-CAD web site. At any rate, I would appreciate any thoughts on the subject. I'm about to introduce some new Korean users to BRL-CAD and would like to demonstrate to them the right way to pronounce mged.
