Communication is definitely working as it's detecting a Modular Evolution 88. Is that correct? It's trying to write this line to the display: no attachable console This is probably some kind of permissions problem. Do you maybe need to run brltty with some kind of elevated privileges? The result of writing this line is: missing braille message acknowledgement so the driver isn't getting an expected response from the device. Do you know if this works or doesn't work on Windows 10? -- I believe the Bible to be the very Word of God: http://Mielke.cc/bible/ Dave Mielke | 2213 Fox Crescent | WebHome: http://Mielke.cc/ EMail: [email protected] | Ottawa, Ontario | Twitter: @Dave_Mielke Phone: +1 613 726 0014 | Canada K2A 1H7 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://mielke.cc/xmother.html (Letter from a Feminist ex-Mother) _______________________________________________ This message was sent via the BRLTTY mailing list.
