well i agree with that, but for what should the excam be? for people who needs multiple choice questions or people who REALY knows the answers? only the later one should be able to complete successfully such a "high quality" excam. i think it should not be enought to read one or two times a manpage and point out the right answer by multiple choice questions. only the people, which you can wake up at 03:00am and ask them ,,hey man, which option should i use with tcpdump to read packets from a file?'' and they answer ,,damn it's 03:00 o clock, use -r option and get the hell lost!''... these people which are one with the source ;) these people needs an excam which raise them out of the masses... does anyone have an Cisco CCNA excam? well 400 bucks (afair) for what? :) i mean it would be nice if there is an excam which i know if anyone have it, i can ask him about details from every IP header field and he can give me some a description and some details. man i know some guys which have an CCNA title and they don't know that their are other subnetmasks like /8,/16,/24 and /32 > With open questions there will always be arguments about an answer being > right or wrong. i would also start a discussion based on multiple choice questions ;) these questions are only that good as its questioner is. > Multiple choice makes > that matter a lot more easier.
