Stimate domnule Dand Ghiocel, Daca citeati mai atent raspunsul, v-ati fi lamurit ca exista o interactiune intre bloc si teren, acest bloc constituie pe o adancime mare (4 niveluri subterane) o discontinuitate si poate produce perturbari in caz de seism LA CLADIRILE DIN JUR, inclusiv la catedrala. Deci nimeni nu era ingrijorat foarte tare ca se va darama blocul, ci de efectul acestuia asupra cladirilor invecinate.

Astfel, o serie de studii nu au fost niciodata realizate de catre constructor: A. The "on site" seismic tests to determine the subsoil seismic characteristics, especially the frequency of ground motion. Severe damages can occur if the frequency of the ground motion matches the natural vibration frequencies of the structures, the shaking response of the structures being enhanced by the phenomenon called resonance.
