Because Emacs is as stupid as Perl and does not understand so simple

Except for the variable window-system's value it is the same
environment as for the X client GNU Emacs 23.0.60.
I launched Emacs.app again and set it up to use no process-connection-
type, then auctex.el and preview-latex.el were loaded. Again, no PNG
file was saved on disk.
