Hi Michael,
I am very tempted to patch the linker so that it refuses to directly generate
binary format output for the V850 architecture. Such a restriction already
exists for several other architectures, eg ARM, AArch64, Score, ND32 so there
already is a precedent for this.
Would this be a problem for you ? As already noted converting the ELF output
to the binary format after linking does work, so I am hoping that this change
would be acceptable.
